WOOD WHARF LANDSCAPE
Townshend Landscape Architects have created a temporary landscape at Wood Wharf which opened to coincide with the London Olympic Games 2012.
In collaboration with Canary Wharf and the Landscape Institute, a student competition was organised to inform the design concept for the space. The winning theme was set around the Great British Summer with open lawns dotted with the iconic British umbrella and surrounded by rich seasonal planting beds. The Wood Wharf temporary space is now hosting a series of public events.
