LONDON PLANNING AWARDS
Townshend Landscape Architects have been presented with two awards in the London Planning Awards 2007.
Bishops Square was the winner in the Best New Public Space category. King's Cross Central won the overall Mayor's Award for Excellence in Planning and was presented to the King's Cross Central development which was submitted by Argent (King's Cross) Ltd. It was praised for creating a new gateway to the capital, providing nearly 2000 new homes, along with offices, shops and leisure and medical facilities.
The 2007 London Planning Awards were presented at City Hall on Tuesday 15th January 2008.
