Rich Estate Awarded Planning


Southwark Council has granted planning permission for the redevelopment of the Rich Industrial Estate, Bermondsey. The scheme will bring forward approximately 400 homes on the site of the old Crosse and Blackwell factory in a mixture of existing warehouse buildings and new apartment blocks designed by AHMM, Studio Egret West and Coffey Architects.

The developer, London Square, appointed Townshend Landscape Architects to develop the landscape design which will comprise of a central public garden and square, private courtyard gardens and improved streetscapes with connections through the site.
