TOWNSHEND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS

Crawley TCN is an extension to the retail area north of Crawley Town Centre. The 25 acre site will be mixed use comprising of retail, offices, restaurants and a hotel. Townshend Landscape Architects were appointed as consultants to the public realm to develop a strategy linking a renewed pedestrianised boulevard to Queens Square and the existing retail area, via two new streets. The project aims to form a series of active spaces which will create a hierarchy of legible spaces which in addition to two new squares, together with a new urban park, will act as green gateways into this part of Crawley.
