TOWNSHEND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS

The St. Christopher Place Estate comprises of St. Christopher’s Place, Barrett Street, Gees Court and James Street and is located to the north of Oxford Street in central London. Townshend Landscape Architects were commissioned to redesign Barrett Street as a pedestrian piazza. This involved working with both English Heritage and Westminster City Council to ensure that a suitable scheme was implemented which met the requirements of the both the client and other parties. As a centre piece a water sculpture was commissioned from William Pye.
