Battersea Reach is a high quality development of approximately 5 hectares fronting onto the River Thames adjacent to Wandsworth Bridge. It is predominantly a residential development with some retail and office units at ground floor. Townshend Landscape Architects were commissioned to review and improve the existing masterplan with BMA Architects incorporating new building footprints and developing a site wide landscape strategy to include a diverse range of high quality public open space that includes parks, courtyard gardens and a riverside walkway. The Masterplan was consented in 2007. Phase 2 Block B is complete, Phase 3 is under construction and Phase 4 Blocks A + S have reached Stage C.
