Townshend Landscape Architects have considerable experience in planting large semi mature trees which can be seen in projects such as MoreLondon and Spitalfields.
As part of Continuing Professional Development, several members of the team went to Von Ehren tree nursery in Hamburg, Germany to research techniques involved in transplanting large trees and explore suitable species for new developments.
This of course included an educational visit to the nightlife of Hamburg city centre!
