Barrier Park East received Outline Planning Permission at the London Borough of Newham's Development Control Committee on Wednesday 3rd June 2009
Barratt Homes, in partnership with the London Development Agency and Taylor Wimpey, plans to develop up to 780 new homes with commercial and retail space, to complete the community next to Barrier Park. Almost a fifth of the site comprises areas of public realm space which will complement the adjoining Barrier Park.
